In these tough economic times it is harder to find new customers and it also becomes harder to retain your current customers. Over the years a lot of us have found different ways to market and advertise our businesses. Some of these are conventional and some are very unconventional. This knowledge of how to promote our businesses is one of the key things that has allowed us to survive over time.

The purpose of JAX BSG is to share business knowledge with other businesses that do not compete in the same areas. The secondary purpose of this group is to leverage the members in order to get better pricing and availability for marketing and advertising.

This group was started by two companies that got together and shared how they were promoting their businesses. After sitting down and talking we realized that there were ways each of us did not know were out there to gain new customers. There were even numerous ways to reach new customers that had no cost to the business. We came to the conclusion that if we could get a group of businesses together to discuss these strategies that all involved would benefit. In the hard business climate we find ourselves in now, who can not afford to find more effective and lower cost ways to gain more business? We expect this group to meet once a month for an hour to and hour and a half. If you find even one way to gain a new customer or two a month this will pay off long term for your business.

Right now a lot of business out there are scratching their heads and trying to find ways to keep their doors open. Some of us have tried many different ways to gain customers. By sharing what works and what doesn’t work with other businesses we will be more effective in our efforts. Can you not afford to spend a small amount of time monthly to learn more effective ways to keep your business running?
